Each bedroom offers ocean views, private patios, clean and comfortable King beds, complete and modern bathrooms. The giant infinity pool and lounge area under the immense Palapa are true luxury. La Manzanilla is a small fishing village located 40 miles northwest of Manzanillo Airport (ZLO) and 20 miles south of Careyes.
Casa Wahapin sits above the main town square and church of La Manzanilla, Jalisco, Mexico.
There are 2 private Bungalows, each with private entrances and patios, that can be rented separately or together. For a more economical rental , we offer two separate King bedrooms in the main house, each with a full bathroom and one with a small private pool.
For families and special occasions, the entire property can be reserved which includes all 7 King bedrooms, 2 pools, the game room, and the spacious private kitchen and living areas.
It is a short one minute walk to the beach and local restaurants and very easy to get around town from Casa Wahapin either by foot or vehicle.
There is so much adventure to enjoy: whale watching, boat trips, kayaking and paddle boarding to name a few.

We want your stay to be just the way you would like, so let us know how we can assist in your adventure. We can arrange almost anything to fit your needs such as fishing trips, whale watching, kayaking, paddle boarding or make suggestions of places to explore. Pick-up and drop off from ZLO airport is available as well as kitchen stocking and catering day to day meals to a festive feast. Yes ! La Manzanilla is a small fishing town off the beaten path. A very friendly town with a local police station and pharmacy. Strolling along the plaza in the evening is a pastime for locals and visitors alike. La Manzanilla is a pleasant mix of locals and visitors.
There are currently 2 ATM's in town, no banks. Many businesses in town only accept cash, so be prepared. The ATM most used by visitors is located in the police station off the center square. There is also an Intercam Bank ATM about a block away, but not all US bank cards are accepted at this one. Multiple banks and ATM's can be found in Melaque, a short 10 minute drive away.
