We built Casa Wahapin to accentuate and integrate the natural beauty of the Pacific Ocean. Casa Wahapin is above the town square and local church with a complete expansive view of the Bahia de Tenacatita. Elegant curves and efficient spaces feel comfortable, luxurious, spacious and clean. Building the property with architect, Alex Possenbacher from Carayes, we elevated the architectural landscape of La Manzanilla. The main house has three floors and two distinct bungalows sit across the palapa and pool area to complete the property. There are a total of seven king bedrooms each with their own dedicated full bathroom. Each bedroom has ocean views; there are two swimming pools. We built the property with the best wifi available, Sonos speaker system throughout, BBQ, reverse osmosis water filter systems to have safe drinking water, and are connected to the sewer system. The property is unique and a special place and we hope we can find a buyer whom will enjoy the property, La Manzanilla and the wonderful residents as much as we have. Casa Wahapin is worthy of being featured in the pages of Architectural magazines.
La Manzanilla is a small fishing village located 40 miles northwest of Manzanillo Airport (ZLO) and 20 miles south of Careyes.
Casa Wahapin is a short few minutes walk to the beach and local restaurants and it is very easy to get around town from Casa Wahapin either by foot or vehicle.
Finally, La Manzanilla is a very friendly, small town by the ocean.

Yes ! La Manzanilla is a small fishing town off the beaten path. A very friendly town with a local police station and pharmacy. Strolling along the plaza in the evening is a pastime for locals and visitors alike. La Manzanilla is a pleasant mix of locals and visitors.
There are currently 2 ATM's in town, no banks. Many businesses in town only accept cash, so be prepared. The ATM most used by visitors is located in the police station off the center square. There is also an Intercam Bank ATM about a block away, but not all US bank cards are accepted at this one. Multiple banks and ATM's can be found in Melaque, a short 10 minute drive away.
